To sleep with Comfort is one of the most important parts when you travel. Specially if you have an early flight the day after. But most airport hotels are heavily overpriced. But sometimes you find a reasonable solution. The Comfort hotel at Copenhagen Airport is one of them.
I tried them out on an 12 hours layover, being to lazy to get home to Malmö. The hotel is quite new and opened it’s doors as late as May 2021. Its located just three minutes from Copenhagen Airports terminal 3 and 12 minutes away from the center city with Metro. The hotel have 605 rooms and an amazing skybar. However arriving later after a daytrip to Olso to celebrate their Nationalday I headed straight to the room located on 11 floor.
The room, where you sleep with comfort
The first thing that hit me was the fantastic view out over the airport. For an aviationgeek like me, it’s almost as heaven. After I have learned my lessons at Ibis Budget in Katowice the second thing I look after when I walk in to hotel room is power outlets. And this time I found more then I needed. Both the two hole European versions as well as USB:s.
The room where I hoped I would sleep with comfort was good. It had a double bed, a work desk and a big bathroom. I also liked how the hotel reminds you about their environmental and charity work.
The Service
After I sleep with comfort I wake up early to catch the next flight and went straight to breakfast. This is a traditional hotel breakfast with scrambled egg, sausage, juice coffee and some bread, Not much to talk about. You will not jump of joy, but will not be disappointed either. What I do like tho is that the restaurant is really light. It’s always nice to get some daylight when you have your morning coffee.
There is a manual check in counter but I prefer to use their service station located in a light big open lobby. It was quick and conveniently. Cross the street and in no time you are at terminal 3 at Copenhagen Airport.
